ICON India Day 2026 brought the Needham community together at Powers Hall for the national anthem, guest speakers, live performances, a fashion show, art exhibition, kids activities, and vendors — honoring India’s Independence Day.

India Day 2026 at Powers Hall
On Saturday, August 15, 2026, ICON welcomed the Needham community to Powers Hall at Town Hall for our annual India Day celebration. The program featured the national anthem, cultural performances, guest speakers, a fashion show, art exhibition, kids activities, and local vendors.
We were honored to welcome Ashish Jha as chief guest this year.
Performers, families, and community guests
India Day brought together flag hoisting, cultural performances, and remarks from community and town leaders. Families dressed in festive colors, children performed, and local small businesses participated.

You did not need Indian heritage to attend. Town officials, school representatives, and neighbors joined ICON for India Day, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the celebration.
