ICON's Summer AI Problem-Solving Studio helps high school students apply AI to meaningful challenges. Students begin with an extended Domain Discovery Day, then continue with weekly project-based sessions focused on problem framing, research, and guided AI-assisted problem solving.

Domain Discovery Day

On Sunday, July 12, students participate in an extended Domain Discovery Day. This kickoff introduces multiple fields of interest, helps students identify problems they care about, and sets the foundation for weekly AI problem-solving work. Lunch is provided — please note any food allergies in the registration form.

Explore finance, biomedical research, corporate legal work, community services, and engineering — or arrive unsure and discover your interests during the program.

Who is this program for?

High school students who want hands-on experience applying AI to real-world problems. No prior AI expertise is required, but curiosity and willingness to learn are essential.

Is this an internship?

No. This is a student learning and project-based training program focused on AI problem-solving, domain discovery, and guided project work — not a corporate internship.

What happens on Day 1?

Day 1 is our extended Domain Discovery Day on Sunday, July 12. Students explore multiple domains, meet mentors, and begin shaping their problem-solving focus. Lunch is included, so please share any food allergies or restrictions when registering.

How do I pay the program fee?

The program fee is $150 per student. Please bring a check payable to ICON on Day 1. Online payment is not required at registration.

What is the weekly schedule?

After Day 1, sessions meet on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at 13 Warren St, Needham. Final session dates and preparation details will be shared before the program begins.

When is the registration deadline?

Please register by July 2, 2026 to reserve a seat. Spots are limited and registration interest is processed in the order received.
