ICON was delighted to host our very first Diwali Tailgate and Car Parade event on November 7th. Our members turned out in great numbers and enjoyed spending time together decorating cars and socializing. Diwali treats and chai were provided by local restaurant Home Kitchen. Once cars were decorated, the group quickly organized for a car parade that moved through Needham, starting from the skating rink at St. Sebastian's and ending at the Sunita Williams Elementary School in Needham Heights. Overall, it was a wonderful day and most (if not all) attendees indicated that they can't wait to do this again next year!
