3/11 Dear ICON Family, As I step into the role of president, I feel truly honored to continue the tradition of community, culture, and connection that makes ICON so special. My vision for this year is to build on our strong foundation with openness and collaboration, ensuring that every member feels welcomed, valued, and engaged. I want to begin by extending my heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing president, Mr. Raja Shaikh, for his inspiring leadership and countless contributions to ICON. We are fortunate that Raja will continue to serve as our 'Social Chair,' bringing his creativity and enthusiasm to our community gatherings. A special thanks also goes to our outgoing board members—Ms. Nidhi Mordia, Ms. Gauri Phatak, Ms. Shalini Jha, and Ms. Vasundhara Sharma—for their dedicated service and commitment over the past years. Their efforts have helped shape ICON into the vibrant organization it is today, and we deeply appreciate all that they have given. At the same time, I am delighted to welcome Mr. Sanjeev Jha as our new 'Membership and Marketing Chair.' His energy and fresh ideas will help us expand our reach and strengthen our community bonds. Looking ahead, our board is excited to bring you engaging events, meaningful initiatives, and opportunities to connect with one another. Together, we will continue to celebrate our culture, support one another, and keep ICON a true home for our community. To me, ICON represents unity, service, and shared pride in our heritage. It is a space where we come together in times of celebration and in times of need, always lifting one another up. This year, I hope to further build on that spirit by encouraging participation across all age groups, especially through our Youth Wing, which fosters volunteerism and community involvement from a young age. Together, we can ensure ICON continues to thrive as a welcoming, vibrant, and compassionate community for years to come. I look forward to serving you in the year ahead to the best of my abilities. 6/11 India Day Recap India Day Celebration Recap
On August 17, we came together to celebrate India Day 2025, and what an incredible day it was! From vibrant cultural performances to delicious food and lively music, the event truly captured the joy, diversity, and spirit of our community. We were thrilled to see so many families, friends, and neighbors come out to join us. The energy and enthusiasm from participants, volunteers, and attendees made this year’s celebration one of our most memorable yet. We were especially honored by the presence of our Chief Guest, Dr. Naimish Patel, whose inspiring words reminded us of the values that unite us all, and we sincerely thank him for gracing the occasion and making the celebration even more special. A heartfelt thank you to all the performers who showcased their talents with such grace and passion, and to our vendors and sponsors who helped bring the event to life.
