August 2023 | Vol 3.7 From the President's Desk Hello everyone! As summer draws to a close and schools reopen, it's hard to believe how quickly time has flown by. This summer has been filled with bustling activity, particularly centered around ICON. Our efforts were focused on organizing and executing the Rakhi and India Day events. These occasions hold great significance for us, and their success was the result of meticulous planning and dedication. As we take a breather and unwind, our sights are already set on the upcoming Garba event scheduled for October 14th. We are also planning to conduct a financial literacy workshop for high school students in the coming months. Stay tuned for more details.

Shalini Jha President, 2023-2024 ICON Board ICON's India Day Celebration: August 27 2023 Thank you all for attending the India Day event and making it a huge success. It was great to see such a huge turnout and support from the community. Thank you to everyone who participated, performed and helped out. Special thanks to the kids for putting in beautiful performances as well as the youth volunteers for making sure the event ran smoothly. We are also very thankful to our amazing sponsors that made this event possible - they include the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Russian School of Mathematics, Volante Farms, Code Wiz, WhozCooking, Roche Bros and Mandeep Financial Group. We appreciate any feedback you may have so we can continue to bring the community together through such initiatives.
